Recap: Tulsa vs. Ark-Little Rock

Tulsa, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Paced by James Woodard's game-high 19 points, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane took down the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans, 78-64, in non-conference action at the Reynolds Center.

Woodard shot 4-of-7 from 3-point range on his big night for Tulsa (3-6), which has won back-to-back games after losing six of its first seven to open the season. Shaquille Harrison tallied 13 points, seven assists and three steals for the home team.

Will Neighbour posted a double-double for UALR (3-5) with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Leroy Isler added 14 points.

Neither team shot greater than 35 percent from the field in the first half, but UALR took a slim 28-26 lead into the break by shooting 3-of-10 from 3- point range and 7-of-10 from the free-throw line.

With the game tied at 41 midway through the second half, Tulsa pulled away with 16 unanswered points.

Tulsa had a busy night at the foul line (26-of-40) and scored 18 points off of 17 UALR turnovers.

This contest was played Tuesday night after being postponed on both Saturday and Sunday when inclement weather prevented the Trojans from traveling to Tulsa.
