Recap: Texas vs. Baylor

Kansas City, MO ( - Cory Jefferson had 20 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in the Baylor Bears' 86-69 victory over the Texas Longhorns in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament.

Brady Heslip made six 3-pointers en route to 24 points for the Bears (24-10), who have won six straight and will play No. 16 Iowa State in the title game on Saturday.

Baylor coach Scott Drew became the all-time winningest coach in school history with his 202nd win, breaking Bill Henderson's record (201).

Isaiah Taylor ended with 16 points and seven assists for the Longhorns (23-10), who defeated the Bears twice in the regular season.

Holding a 21-18 lead, Baylor closed out the first half on a 21-9 run. Kenny Chery's 3-pointer with 12 seconds left gave the Bears a 42-27 margin at the break.

Baylor cruised to victory in the second half to secure a spot in its third Big 12 tournament title game (2009, 2012; both losses to Missouri).
