Recap: Auburn vs. Alabama

Auburn, AL ( - Chris Denson poured in 32 points and KT Harrell hung up a double-double to lead the Auburn Tigers to a 74-55 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide in SEC action at Auburn Arena.

Harrell tallied 23 points and 11 rebounds for Auburn (9-9, 1-6 SEC), which has lost five straight.

Alabama (9-11, 3-4) was led by 15 points from Trevor Releford. The Crimson Tide have lost three of their last four.

Neither team had much success in the first half, with Auburn shooting 37.9 percent from the floor and Alabama at 30.8 percent. The Tigers led 30-22 at the break.

Auburn improved to 63.6 percent shooting in the second frame to pull even further ahead and coast to victory.

The Tigers more than doubled the Crimson Tide's output in points off of turnovers (15-7).
