Recap: Georgia State vs. Texas State

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Harrow paced four teammates in double figures with 17 points, as the Georgia State Panthers dismissed the Texas State Bobcats, 68-41, in a Sun Belt Conference clash at GSU Sports Arena.

Manny Atkins scored 15 points and collected seven rebounds for GSU (18-7, 11-1 Sun Belt), which bounced back from its first league loss of the season last Saturday to Troy. R.J. Hunter and Curtis Washington put up 12 and 10 points, respectively, while Devonta White handed out eight assists.

Texas State (7-18, 3-9), losers of three in a row, was led by Kavin Tilbury and Victor Bermudez with seven points apiece and shot just 29.4 percent from the field on the evening.

GSU shot a modest 43.5 percent from the floor in the first half, but it still took a comfortable 28-14 lead at intermission after holding Texas State to a lowly 5-of-22 field goal shooting (.227).

The Panthers improved their field goal efficiency to a lofty 60.9 percent after halftime as they cruised to the 27-point victory.

Texas State finished with just 15 field goals and committed 13 turnovers.
