Corvallis, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Ya Ya Anderson poured in 23 points while Javonte Green and R.J. Price netted 20 apiece, as the Radford Highlanders downed the Oregon State Beavers, 96-92, first-round action of the College Basketball Invitational at Gill Coliseum.

Anderson shot 7-of-11 from the field and Price handed out seven assists for Radford (22-12), which will play Old Dominion in the quarterfinals. Rashun Davis added 14 points and seven assists and Jalen Carethers scored 10.

For Oregon State (16-16), Roberto Nelson paced all scorers with 26 points, Eric Moreland tallied 23 points and 11 rebounds, Hallice Cooke also scored 23 and Angus Brandt netted 14.

The Beavers gradually chipped away at their deficit in the second half and trailed by just two, 94-92, with 10 seconds left following a Nelson layup. After Davis had a 1-of-2 trip to the line for Radford, Oregon State had a chance to tie on a Nelson 3-point attempt but it was off the mark. Green nailed a free throw on the other end to put the game out of reach.

The difference came from beyond the arc, where Radford shot 13-of-24, compared to only 6-of-16 for Oregon State.
