New York, NY (Sports Network) - Duke and Michigan remained the top two teams in the latest Associated Press men's basketball poll.

The Blue Devils received 62 first-place votes, one fewer than last week, and a total of 1,622 points from a nationwide media panel, while the Wolverines added a top tally and now have three.

Louisville and Arizona swapped places. The Cardinals are now third and the Wildcats, despite still being undefeated after a pair of narrow home victories last week, dropped one spot. Arizona needed overtime -- and a controversial call -- to beat Colorado before escaping with a 60-57 win over Utah.

Indiana, Kansas, Syracuse, Minnesota, Gonzaga and Missouri complete this week's top 10. Missouri moved up two places from 12th.

The second 10 consists of Florida, Illinois, Creighton, Butler, Ohio State, San Diego State, Notre Dame, Kansas State, Georgetown and North Carolina State. Ohio State tumbled seven places from eighth after a 74-55 loss at Illinois on Saturday, while Kansas State rose seven spots from 25th after opening the Big 12 campaign with a 73-67 victory over then-No. 22 Oklahoma State, which also lost to Gonzaga last week and fell out of the poll.

Cincinnati, Michigan State, Wichita State, UNLV and New Mexico are the last five teams ranked. Cincinnati slid seven places from 14th after a 53-52 home loss to St. John's, while New Mexico dipped five spots from 20th following a 60-46 drubbing at Saint Louis in its lone game last week.

Wichita State and UNLV are this week's newcomers, although both were ranked earlier this season. Wichita State was in the poll for two weeks in early December, while UNLV was 18th to start the season and fell out only last week.

In addition to Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh also dropped out this week. The Panthers had a two-week stay at No. 24, but lost to Cincinnati and Rutgers last week.

This week's matchups of ranked teams includes Wednesday's Mountain West opener between UNLV and New Mexico at the Pit and a Big Ten clash between Minnesota and Illinois in Champaign. The Gophers continue a tough week Saturday at Indiana, while Duke will play its first road conference game that day at NC State. Michigan will venture into Columbus on Sunday to face Ohio State.
