Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Ohio State sophomore defensive lineman Noah Spence has been suspended for three games and will not play in the Orange Bowl on Friday against Clemson.

The school said only that Spence violated a Big Ten rule. He will be eligible to return for the Sept. 13 contest against Kent State.

Spence led Ohio State with eight sacks and was second on the team with 14 1/2 tackles for loss in 2013. He finished with 52 tackles in 13 games for the 12-1 Buckeyes.
