Recap: Baylor vs. TCU

Waco, TX (Sports Network) - Trevone Boykin completed 22-of-30 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns to lead the TCU Horned Frogs to a 49-21 victory over the Baylor Bears in a Big 12 matchup at Floyd Casey Stadium.

Boykin also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries to help the TCU (5-1, 2-1 Big 12) offense explode for 508 total yards. Boykin's favorite target Josh Boyce, who caught eight passes for 85 yards and one touchdown.

The Baylor (3-2, 0-2) offense struggled all game, committing six turnovers. Quarterback Nick Florence completed 12-of-19 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns, but had four interceptions. Receiver Terrance Williams caught three passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

Baylor scored on the second play from scrimmage when Florence connected with Williams for a 74-yard touchdown pass to give the Bears the early lead, 7-0.

TCU tied up the game when Boykin completed an 18-yard touchdown pass to Cam White, which made the score 7-7.

In the second quarter, TCU put together a 16-play, 75-yard drive that ended with a 15-yard touchdown pass from Boykin to White to give them the lead, 14-7.

TCU opened up the second half with 43-yard touchdown pass from Boykin to LaDarius Brown, which made the score 21-7.

Florence responded with a five yard touchdown run, but the Bears still trailed 21-14.

The Horned Frogs came right back and Josh Boyce punched it in for a two yard touchdown run to put TCU up, 28-14.

On the ensuing possession, Florence connected with Williams for a 77-yard touchdown, which made the score 28-21.

In the fourth quarter, Laderice Sanders added on to the TCU lead when he ran it in for a two-yard touchdown that made the score 35-21.

On the next possession, Florence threw an interception to Horned Frog Kevin White, which he took to the Baylor 15-yard line. Then, Boykin connected with Boyce for a 15-yard touchdown pass to put TCU up 42-21.

Florence threw another interception on the next possession. TCU took advantage of the turnover when Boykin punched it in for a three-yard touchdown run, which made the score 49-21.

TCU committed zero turnovers to Baylor's six.
