Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - Taylor Kelly threw for 308 yards and five touchdowns as the Arizona State Sun Devils rode a big second half to a 51-17 rout of the Colorado Buffaloes in Pac-12 action at Folsom Field.

Kelly completed 20-of-28 passes and also had 67 yards rushing for Arizona State (5-1, 3-0 Pac-12) which has won three straight. D.J. Foster caught six passes for 71 yards and a score and added 61 yards on the ground. Marion Grice brought in three of Kelly's five touchdown passes while racking up 101 yards on five receptions. Cameron Marshall ran for 98 yards and a score.

Jordan Webb completed less than fifty percent of his pass attempts (20-of-41) for 180 yards and a touchdown for Colorado (1-5, 1-2). Nick Kasa caught four of those passes for 71 yards and a score. Josh Ford was the leading rusher with 38 yards on seven carries. The Buffaloes have lost back-to-back games since its 35-34 win over Washington State on September 22.

Kelly hit Grice out of the backfield for a 37-yard touchdown pass as the Sun Devils struck first. After the extra point attempt was blocked Arizona State led 6-0.

Colorado responded with a two-yard rushing touchdown from Tony Jones early in the second quarter to take a 7-6 lead.

It didn't take long for Arizona State to respond as Foster made a diving catch in the end zone to pull in a 34-yard pass from Kelly midway through the second quarter.

Kelly hooked up with Grice for a second time on a 16-yard touchdown pass just over two minutes later as the Sun Devils stretched their lead to 20-7.

A 20-yard touchdown pass from Webb to Nick Kasa brought the Buffaloes back to within a score.

Jamal Miles fumbled on the ensuing kickoff return which was then recovered by Colorado.

After the turnover a pair of passes to the end zone by Webb fell incomplete and Colorado settled for a 36-yard field goal from Will Oliver.

With the Buffaloes scoring 10 points in the final 24 seconds of the first half the Sun Devils took just a 20-17 lead into the locker room.

Rashad Ross returned the opening kickoff of the second half 100 yards for a touchdown as the Sun Devils extended their lead to 27-17.

Grice caught his third touchdown pass of the game later in the quarter, a 20-yard strike from Kelly, as Arizona State began to pull away.

The Sun Devils would add a 38-yard field goal from Jon Mora and a 31-yard touchdown pass from Kelly to Richard Smith as their lead continued to grow.

Cameron Marshall scored on a 14-yard run late in the fourth quarter to cap off a 31-point second half for Arizona State.

Arizona State had 31 first downs to just 16 by Colorado. The Sun Devils also held a dominating 593-255 edge in total yards.
