Coffman was 21-of-33 for the Hoosiers(4-5, 2-3 Big Ten). All three touchdown passes went to Cody Latimer, who had seven receptions for 113 yards. Coffman was temporarily pulled early in the game. During that time Nate Sudfeld played and was 10-of-16 for 91 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception.

Other key performers for Indiana were Kofi Hughes, who caught six balls for 110 yards and Ted Bolser, who caught six balls for 82 yards.

On the ground, Damon Bullock added 83 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries.

Iowa was first to score as Vandenberg threw to Martin-Manley for a 24-yard touchdown. On the following drive Christian Kirksey intercepted a Sudfeld pass and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown giving the Hawkeyes a 14-0 lead.

The Hoosiers got on the board near the end of the first quarter when Mitch Ewald hit a 45-yard field goal. In the second quarter Coffman threw to Latimer for a 15-yard touchdown, capping off a six-play, 87-yard drive. The Hoosiers trailed 14-10 at the end of the first half.

Indiana took the lead in the third quarter when Coffman connected with Latimer a second time, this time for a six-yard touchdown to complete a seven-play, 80-yard drive.

In the fourth quarter Iowa took the lead back, putting together a 10-play, 88-yard drive that resulted in a four-yard touchdown run by Bullock that put the Hawkeyes up 21-17.

To retake the lead, Coffman hit Latimer for their third touchdown connection, this one a 30-yard touchdown pass that put the Hoosiers back on top, 24-21. Indiana held that lead until the end.

Indiana broke an 11-game conference losing streak last week with their win over Illinois, and now with a second consecutive conference victory their season is looking up.

Iowa has now lost three games in a row.
