Recap: So Florida vs. Pittsburgh

Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Ray Graham ran for a pair of touchdowns as he helped guide the Pittsburgh Panthers to a 27-3 victory over the South Florida Bulls in Big East Conference action at Raymond James Stadium.

Graham finished the contest with a game-high 94 yards on 26 carries, while Pittsburgh quarterback Tino Sunseri converted 19-of-25 passes for 211 yards and a score for the Panthers (6-6, 3-4 Big East) as they won their second straight. With their respective efforts, Graham went over 1,000 yards rushing on the season and Sunseri 3,000 yards passing, marking the first time in program history that's happened in the same season.

Pitt became bowl eligible with the win for the fifth straight season. The last time the Panthers were bowl eligible in five consecutive years was between 2000-04.

The Bulls (3-9, 1-6) struggled the entire game, generating a mere 117 yards of total offense as they bowed for the third straight time to close out the 2012 campaign. Matt Floyd converted 12-of-26 passes for 93 yards, was sacked three times and had three attempts picked off.

Graham scored the first points of the evening when he bulled his way over the goal line from one yard out at the 8:33 mark.

On the ensuing drive the Bulls were able to get the ball down into the red zone, but a pass out to the right side by Floyd was picked off by Todd Thomas and returned to the 38-yard line in order to keep USF scoreless.

Early in the second quarter the Panthers added to their advantage when kicker Kevin Harper knocked through a 25-yard field goal.

Pittsburgh again had the ball in the red zone with time winding down in the first half, but a Sunseri sack forced the team to go for a field goal instead of the end zone. Harper obliged with a 27-yard conversion with one second remaining in the half to make the score 13-0 heading into the break.

Graham struck again for the visitors at the 8:48 mark of the third quarter when he found his way into the end zone on another one-yard run, pushing the lead to 20-0.

Five minutes later Sunseri capped yet another scoring drive as he hit J.P. Holtz with a two-yard scoring pass.

The only scoring for the Bulls on the night came courtesy of kicker Maikon Bonani who connected on a 25-yard field goal at the 9:41 mark of the fourth quarter, capping an 11-play, 81-yard drive that consumed more than five minutes of the clock.

USF, which entered the game averaging 165.1 ypg on the ground, finished with a net of only eight yards on 20 attempts.
