Ypsilanti, MI (Sports Network) - Dri Archer scored three touchdowns in three different facets of the game as the Kent State Golden Flashes rolled over the Eastern Michigan Eagles, 41-14, in Mid-American Conference action at Rynearson Stadium.

Archer had a rushing touchdown, caught a touchdown pass, and returned a kickoff return for a score for Kent State (4-1, 3-0 MAC), giving him six total touchdowns in the past two games. Trayion Durham carried the ball 24 times for 116 yards and a pair of scores, while Spencer Keith completed 12-of-21 passes for 113 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Demarius Reed led all receivers with 55 yards, and Tyler Benz struggled under center, completing 9-of-17 passes for 93 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. The Eagles have now lost seven straight games dating back to last season.

The only score in the first quarter came on a Freddy Cortez 42-yard field goal to give Kent State a 3-0 lead.

The Flashes added to their lead a few minutes into the second quarter when Keith connected with Archer on a five-yard touchdown strike.

The Eagles struck with a big play midway through the quarter to cut into the lead when Hill ripped off a 68-yard touchdown run. Kent State responded on its ensuing drive however, punctuating a 53-yard drive with a four -yard rushing score from Durham to go up, 17-7.

Kent State wasted no time adding to its lead after halftime as Archer returned the second half kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. The road team tallied another touchdown less than five minutes later when Durham ran in a two-yard score to give it a 31-7 advantage.

The Flashes' advantage ballooned even further to 38-7 following another Archer score, this time on a 64-yard rush with under four minutes to play in the third quarter.

Cortez knocked in a 20-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter for Kent State to pad its comfortable lead.

After surrendering 31 unanswered points, EMU finally scored again midway through the fourth quarter when Reed hauled in a 25-yard touchdown pass from Benz.

The Flashes converted 7-of-17 third downs on the afternoon and were 3-of-3 on fourth down. EMU did not have a third down conversion on nine attempts.

Kent State has won three in a row and is 4-1 for the first time since 1977.
