Recap: Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt

Knoxville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Patton Robinette scored on a five-yard touchdown run with 16 seconds to play to lift the Vanderbilt Commodores to a 14-10 win over the Tennessee Volunteers in a SEC thriller at Neyland Stadium.

Austyn Carta-Samuels threw for 181 yards and an interception on 21-of-27 passing for Vanderbilt (7-4, 4-4 SEC). Robinette added 14 yards on 3-of-4 passing and also rushed for 33 yards. Jordan Matthews hauled in 13 passes for 133 yards.

Joshua Dobbs threw for only 53 yards and was intercepted twice on 11-of-19 passing for Tennessee (4-7, 1-6). Rajion Neal rushed for 95 yards and a score for the Volunteers.

The Commodores took a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter on a four-yard touchdown run from Jerron Seymour.

Neal evened the score at 7-7 with a five-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter.

The Volunteers finally pulled ahead with a 32-yard field goal from Michael Palardy early in the third period.

After struggling all game the Commodores were able to put together a 12-play drive that covered 92 yards, helped by an overturned call on a 4th-and-1, that ended in Robinette's score.
