Notre Dame wasted no time in responding as Rees threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Corey Robinson on the Irish's next possession.

Following a 47-yard field goal from Will Conant for Air Force, the Irish got another touchdown when Rees hooked up with Ben Koyack on a 22-yard scoring pass.

Kyle Brindza booted a 51-yard field goal later in the period to stake the Irish to a 24-10 lead.

Rees recorded his fourth touchdown pass of the contest midway through the third quarter with a 30-yard strike to Jones.

He wouldn't stop there as Chris Brown brought in a 15-yard pass for a touchdown from Rees later on in the frame.

Early in the fourth quarter the Irish found the end zone yet again, this time when Andrew Hendrix scored on a four-yard touchdown run.
