Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Led by P.J. Walker's two touchdown passes, the Temple Owls defeated the Army Black Knights at Lincoln Financial Field, 33-14, for their first win of the season.

Temple started the game off strong by scoring on its first drive, as Kenneth Harper had a one-yard touchdown rush to put the Owls up, 7-0.

Army fumbled on its next drive, and it was recovered and returned for a 19- yard touchdown by Nate Smith. After a failed two-point conversion, the Owls took a 26-0 lead into halftime.

Temple continued to pour it on after halftime, as Williams ripped off a 15- yard touchdown rush early in the third quarter.

Army finally scored with 3:19 left in the third when White completed a 14-yard pass to Patrick Laird for a touchdown.

The Black Knights continued to make a push on offense in the fourth quarter, as White ran in a one-yard touchdown, but that would be the final score of the afternoon.

The win for Temple was Matt Rhule's first as the Owls' coach.
