San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Eric Soza completed 17-of-20 pass attempts and accounted for a pair of touchdowns as the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners coasted to a 30-10 victory over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in a Conference USA matchup at the Alamodome.

Soza passed for 271 yards and a score with only one interception for UTSA (7-5, 6-2 C-USA) as it won its fifth game in a row to conclude its first year in the conference. Evans Okotcha racked up 105 yards and a score on 26 carries and also paced the Roadrunners with 68 receiving yards on two catches.

Scotty Young and Ryan Higgins shared the snaps for the Bulldogs (4-8, 3-5). Young completed 13 of his 24 throws for 80 yards but was picked off once. Higgins finished 7-of-13 for 71 yards. Tevin King was held to only 39 yards on 11 rushing attempts and Louisiana Tech averaged only 2.1 yards per carry as a unit.

UTSA put some points on the board just over a minute after the opening kickoff as Soza threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Jarveon Williams. The Bulldogs went three-and-out on their next to drives before pushing all the way to the Roadrunners' 6-yard line near the midpoint of the first quarter. They were unable to capitalize on the red zone opportunity and settled for a 24-yard field goal by Kyle Fischer.

UTSA took a 14-3 advantage late in the first quarter when Soza scored on a 20- yard quarterback draw play. The Roadrunners added three more points with just under seven minutes remaining in the first half as Sean Ianno converted a 21- yard field goal attempt.

Louisiana Tech's offense continued to struggle, but its defense provided a spark as Adairius Barnes picked off Soza and returned the interception 26 yards across the goal line. Barnes's defensive score sent the Bulldogs into the break trailing, 17-10.

UTSA controlled the game after the intermission. Okotcha scored on a one-yard run at the 6:25 mark of the third stanza to register the only points in the quarter.

The Roadrunners added some insurance points as Ianno connected on field goal attempts from distances of 21 and 37 yards in the fourth quarter,

UTSA amassed 475 yards of total offense and moved the chains 18 times. Louisiana Tech tallied only 193 total yards and 13 first downs.
