Recap: Ohio U vs. Miami-Ohio

Athens, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Tettleton threw three touchdowns, all to Donte Foster, as the Ohio University Bobcats rolled up a 41-16 victory over the Miami-Ohio RedHawks in a Mid-American Conference test at Peden Stadium.

Tettleton completed 22-of-32 pass attempts for 306 yards and the three scores for Ohio (6-2, 3-1 MAC). Foster brought in eight passes, including the three scores, for 122 yards and Matt Waters added 96 yards on six catches. Beau Blankenship had 172 yards on 20 carries as he out rushed the RedHawks all by himself.

Austin Boucher threw for 120 yards and a touchdown but completed only 12-of-25 pass attempts and was intercepted once for Miami-Ohio (0-8, 0-4). Dawan Scott caught five passes for 48 yards and Dustin White had 38 yards and a score on three receptions.

Foster stole the show early on when he scored two touchdowns in the first 10 minutes. The first was a two-yard reception from Tettleton while the second came on a 33-yard connection.

Before the end of the first period the RedHawks got onto the scoreboard with a 45-yard field goal from Kaleb Patterson.

Boucher threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Dustin White midway through the second period to cut the Bobcats' advantage to 14-10.

Foster found his way into the end zone once again before the break when he secured a five-yard scoring toss from Tettleton.

The Bobcats took a two-touchdown lead into the locker room when Josiah Yazdani nailed a 24-yard field goal 18 seconds before halftime.

Yazdani was successful on a 33-yard field goal midway through the third quarter to keep Ohio comfortably ahead.

Ryan Boykin scored on the ground from seven-yards out early in the final period as the Bobcats continued to pile on.

After 20-striaght points from the Bobcats, the RedHawks finally scored again on a three-yard touchdown run from Drew Kummer.

Unfortunately for the RedHawks, Kummer's touchdown was not the last score of the game as the Bobcats hammered home the victory on a six-yard touchdown run from Derrius Vick.
