The Lobos regained control later in the frame with a pair of rushing scores. First Pressley ripped off an 18-yard touchdown run, then four minutes later Jordan added a 26-yard score to put the home team up, 17-7.

The Bulldogs cut into their deficit just prior to the half, as Burrell tossed a 10-yard touchdown to Josh Quezada on 3rd-and-2 with just 16 seconds left before intermission.

The seesaw continued at the tail end of the third quarter. After another lengthy drive (11 plays, 81 yards), the Bulldogs scored on a 1-yard touchdown run by Quezada.

The Bulldogs took an 11-point lead early in the fourth quarter thanks to Burrell's fourth touchdown of the night, this one courtesy of a three-yard rush, and they would hold on for the 35-24 final.
