A 12-yard touchdown run from Silvers ended an 85-yard drive and gave Troy a 7-0 lead with 10:55 to play in the first quarter.

The Trojans also got a 28-yard field goal from Ryan Kay in the opening frame.

A 53-yard touchdown run from Rose III early in the second quarter allowed the Aggies to cut into their deficit.

However, Chandler Worthy returned the ensuing kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown, keeping the Trojans ahead by 10.

Kay added a 41-yard field goal to Troy's total right before halftime.

The Aggies struck first in the second half on a 24-yard field goal from Maxwell Johnson.

The Aggies responded quickly, as Rogers connected with Jerrel Brown on a 30- yard touchdown pass less than two minutes later.

Chunn found the end zone again, this time from 18 yards out midway through the fourth quarter.

Morgan brought in an 11-yard touchdown pass from Rogers just over two minutes later but Silvers and Worthy sealed the win with a 35-yard touchdown connection on the ensuing drive.
