Lake Charles, LA (Sports Network) - McNeese State's football program will play a 12-game schedule this year after completing it with a Sept. 28 visit to Northern Iowa.

Northern Iowa holds a 7-4 series lead, winning the most recent meeting, 41-17, in 1999.

McNeese State, coming off a 7-4 season, will play six home games against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Sept. 7), West Alabama (Sept. 14), Weber State (Sept. 21), Sam Houston State (Oct. 19), Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 2) and Northwestern State (Nov. 16).
