St. Petersburg, FL (Sports Network) - Ivy League defensive player of the year Mike Catapano of Princeton University has been selected to play in the 2013 East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 19.

Catapano led the league with 12 sacks, ranked second with 15.5 tackles for loss and was in on 41 tackles. He was named to The Sports Network FCS All-America Third Team on Monday.

He is Princeton's first selection to the East-West Shrine Game since place- kicker Taylor Northrop in 2002.

The longest-running college football all-star game, to be played at Tropicana Field, serves as a showcase for potential NFL Draft choices.
