South Bend, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Nicole Vandermade closed with a 4-under 68 on Sunday to rally past Lee Lopez and win the Four Winds Invitational.

Vandermade, who won for the first time on the Symetra Tour, finished at 12- under-par 204. She fired a 64 in the opening round, and that was the lowest round on tour all year.

Lopez, who led by one entering the final round, closed with a 2-under 70 to end alone in second at minus-11.

Vandermade parred the first eight holes before running off three straight birdies from the ninth. After four more pars, she eagled the 16th to jump to 13-under. The Canadian tripped to a bogey at the last, but hung on to win.

Lopez birdied three of the first five holes, but fell out of the lead with a bogey on the seventh and a double-bogey on the eighth. That dropped her to minus-9. She bounced back with birdies at 10 and 11. Lopez birdied the 16th, but gave that right back as she bogeyed the 17th to end one behind Vandermade.

Jackie Stoelting (65) and Jaclyn Jansen (67) shared third place at 9-under 207. Emma Jandel (68), Lindy Duncan (70) and Madeleine Sheils (69) tied for fifth at minus-8.
