Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto was placed on the 15-day disabled list Saturday.
Cueto left Friday's game against the Texas Rangers with tightness in his right lat muscle in the second inning.
Cueto, who was on the disabled list April 15 - May 19 with a strained right lat and again earlier this month with a strained right shoulder, is 4-2 with a 3.33 ERA in nine starts this season.
To take Cueto's place on the roster, the Reds called up pitcher Logan Ondrusek from Triple-A Louisville.
Ondrusek, 28, began the season with Double-A Pensacola before being called up on April 10. He went 2-0 with a 5.64 ERA in 21 appearances for the Reds before being optioned to Louisville on June 8.
