Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Tigers agreed to one-year contracts with outfielders Austin Jackson and Brennan Boesch, pitchers Doug Fister, Rick Porcello and Phil Coke and catcher Alex Avila, the team announced on Friday.

All six players were eligible for arbitration.

Jackson had his best season since breaking into the majors in 2010 last year, batting .300 with 16 home runs, 66 RBI and 103 runs scored. Over 441 career games, Jackson has batted .280 with 30 homers, 152 RBI and 296 runs scored.

Boesch batted .240 with 12 homers and 54 RBI over 132 games last season.

Fister, a four-year major league veteran, went 10-10 with a 3.45 earned run average over 26 starts with Detroit this past season.

Porcello, who won 14 games with the Tigers in 2011, posted a 10-12 record with a 4.59 ERA and a career-high 107 strikeouts over 31 starts last season.

Coke appeared in 66 games out of Detroit's bullpen in 2012, posting a 2-3 record with a 4.00 ERA. The left-hander registered 51 strikeouts and walked just 18 batters over 54 innings.

Avila batted .243 with nine homers and 48 RBI over 116 games in 2012.
