Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Tigers retained Jeff Jones as pitching coach and named Dave Clark third base coach and outfield instructor on Wednesday.

Jones has served as Detroit's pitching coach since being named to the position on July 3, 2011. He officially joined the Tigers coaching staff for the 2007 season.

Clark joins the Tigers after spending five seasons as a member of the Houston Astros coaching staff. He served as first base coach last season after four years as third base coach. He had a brief stint as Astros interim manager in the club's final 13 games of the 2009 season.
