Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Astros announced on Friday that the team has come to terms with shortstop Jed Lowrie and pitcher Bud Norris on contracts for the 2013 season

Both players were eligible for salary arbitration along with reliever Wesley Wright, who was also signed to a one-year deal.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Norris' pact was for $3 million and Lowrie will receive $2.4 million. Financial terms for Wright were not disclosed.

Lowrie had a career-best 16 home runs along with 42 RBI and a .244 batting average over 97 games last season, his first with the Astros after being acquired in a trade with the Boston Red Sox. The 28-year-old switch-hitter also missed two months of the campaign with a knee injury.

Norris went just 7-13 with a 4.65 ERA over 29 starts in 2012, but led the club with 165 strikeouts and posted an impressive 4-1 record and 1.71 ERA at Minute Maid Park. The right-hander has been a fixture in Houston's starting rotation over the past three seasons.

Wright made a career-high 77 appearances out of the bullpen last year and registered a 3.27 ERA and one save along with a 2-2 record. The southpaw has limited left-handed hitters to only a .170 average over the past two seasons.
