Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim placed pitcher C.J. Wilson on the 15-day disabled list with an ankle injury on Thursday.

The struggling 33-year-old Wilson allowed six runs -- three earned -- in 3 2/3 innings against the Blue Jays on Wednesday and has posted a 10.26 ERA over his last four starts.

Wilson is 8-6 with a 4.33 ERA over 19 starts so far this year.

In addition, the Angels optioned Cam Bedrosian to Double-A Arkansas, called up Cory Rasmus from Triple-A Salt Lake, selected the contract of Drew Rucinski from Arkansas and designated Nick Maronde for assignment.
