San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - The San Francisco Giants and relief pitcher Santiago Casilla have agreed to a three-year deal, pending a physical examination.

Casilla, who was entering his final year of salary-arbitration eligibility, will make $15 million over the span of his new deal with a club/vesting option for 2016, according to multiple news outlets.

The 32-year-old right-hander appeared in 73 regular-season games for the 2012 World Series champions, compiling a 7-6 record with a 2.84 earned run average and a team-high 25 saves.

Casilla played a key role in the Giants' championship run, surrendering just one earned run over seven innings and was the winning pitcher in the Game 4 World Series clincher against Detroit.

After spending his first six seasons in Oakland, Casilla joined the Giants in 2010 and has amassed a 16-10 record with a 2.22 ERA and 33 saves in 174 relief appearances over three seasons in San Francisco.

In 326 career games, all in relief, Casilla owns a 22-14 record with a 3.62 ERA and 37 saves over nine seasons with the A's and Giants.
