Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Blue Jays signed center fielder Rajai Davis to a one-year, $2.5 million contract for the 2013 season, among a slew of roster moves.

Davis, who had a club option for 2013 declined before signing the new deal, hit .257 in 2012 with 24 doubles, eight home runs, 43 RBI and 46 stolen bases.

In two seasons with the Blue Jays, Davis has hit .249 with 45 doubles, nine triples, nine homers and 72 RBI.

The Blue Jays also picked up a $3 million 2013 option on left-hander Darren Oliver and claimed pitcher Scott Maine off waivers from the Cleveland Indians.

Oliver, 42, posted a 3-4 mark with two saves and a 2.06 ERA in 62 appearances.

Maine, 27, appeared in 30 games last season for the Indians and Chicago Cubs, posting a 2-3 record with a 6.07 ERA.

Additionally, outfielder Scott Cousins and pitcher David Herndon were designated for assignment.
