Recap: Baltimore vs. Toronto

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Jason Hammel tossed seven shutout innings, while Chris Davis and Wilson Betemit each smacked a solo home run as the Baltimore Orioles took down the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-0, in the second test of a three-game set.

Hammel (3-0) fanned seven while allowing just four hits and one walk, and Pedro Strop notched his second save of the season after Brett Lawrie grounded into a game-ending, 5-4-3 double play.

Adam Jones added an RBI double for Baltimore, which has won three straight contests.

Eric Thames had two hits for the Blue Jays, who got six innings of two-run ball from Kyle Drabek (2-1).
