Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Tuesday night's game between the Chicago Cubs and the Cincinnati Reds was postponed due to rain.

A makeup date has not yet been announced.

Bronson Arroyo was scheduled to make the start for Cincinnati in the opener of this three-game set, while right-hander Jeff Samardzija was to get the start for the Cubs.

Both pitchers will start when the series begins on Wednesday at Great American Ball Park.
