Recap: Chicago WSox vs. Detroit

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Thursday's series finale between the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox has been postponed due to rain.

Chicago won the series-opener on Monday, but Detroit answered with two straight wins to pull within one game of the AL Central-leading White Sox heading into the finale.

Justin Verlander was scheduled to start for the Tigers, while Chris Sale was set to take the hill for the White Sox.

The game will be made up on Monday, Sept. 17 at 2:10 p.m. (et).
