Recap: Seattle vs. San Diego

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Johermyn Chavez doubled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the Seattle Mariners bested the San Diego Padres, 5-4, in Cactus League play.

Kyle Seager went 3-for-3 with a homer and two runs batted in and Jesus Montero knocked in a run for Seattle, which got four no-hit innings from starter Jason Vargas.

Yasmani Grandal had a double and two RBI for the Padres, who saw starter Anthony Bass give up one run in two innings of work.
