Recap: Colorado vs. Oakland

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Eric Sogard went 3-for-5 with two runs scored to lift the Oakland Athletics to a 6-4 win over the Colorado Rockies in Cactus League action.

Grant Green hit a solo home run and Josh Donaldson added two hits and an RBI for the Athletics. Jerry Blevins (1-0) got the final out of the fifth inning to get the win while Brandon McCarthy pitched 4 2/3 innings in the start, giving up two runs on four hits with three strikeouts.

Troy Tulowitzki went 2-for-2 with two runs scored while Todd Helton and Michael Cuddyer each drove in a run for the Rockies. Tyler Chatwood (0-1) was tagged for two runs and four hits with four strikeouts over three innings to take the loss.
