Recap: Oakland vs. Cincinnati

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Cuban outfielder Yoenis Cespedes hit a solo home run and had an RBI single in the Athletics' 6-3 exhibition win over the Reds on Saturday.

Cespedes, who agreed to a four-year contract with Oakland in February, also walked to reach base in each of his first three Cactus League at bats. Cliff Pennington, Josh Donaldson and Adam Rosales added an RBI apiece in Saturday's win.

Bartolo Colon, who pitched with the Yankees last season, got the start and the win, allowing one run on three hits while striking out four in as many innings. Neil Wagner tossed a scoreless ninth to record the save.

Todd Frazier and Chris Valaika each drove in a run for the Reds while Johnny Cueto took the loss in the start, giving up three runs -- two earned -- on five hits over two innings.
