Recap: Texas vs. Oakland

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Derek Norris hit a grand slam in the ninth inning to help the Oakland Athletics take an 11-7 win over the Texas Rangers in spring training action.

Jemile Weeks hit a pair of solo homers and scored three times while Anthony Recker added a solo home run for the Athletics. Brad Peacock went 2 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on five hits with three walks.

Nelson Cruz drove in three runs while Ian Kinsler hit a solo home run and scored twice for the Rangers. Martin Perez gave up two runs on five hits with two walks over two innings.
