Travis Snider also went deep and David Cooper also knocked in a run for the Blue Jays, who got two scoreless innings from starter Dustin McGowan.

Aaron Laffey picked up the win by tossing three scoreless relief frames.

Zach Duke took the loss for the Astros, charged with six hits and three runs over four innings.
