Curtis Granderson doubled in a run and scored twice, while Hiroki Kuroda allowed one run on three hits in a four-inning start for New York.

Chris Johnson had two doubles and an RBI for Houston. Bud Norris was touched for five runs on five hits and four walks in three innings for the Astros.
