Recap: Houston vs. Chicago WSox

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - J.D. Martinez hit a two-run homer and Brian Bogusevic had a solo shot, helping the Houston Astros tie the Chicago White Sox, 5-5, in nine innings Wednesday.

Jared Mitchell's solo homer in the seventh inning for Chicago tied the game at 5-5.

Houston starter J.A. Happ gave up two runs on four hits in five innings while Chicago's Philip Humber also threw five frames, allowing three runs on five hits.

The White Sox will open the regular season at the Texas Rangers on Friday and the Astros will host the Colorado Rockies in their opener, also on Friday.
