Recap: Pittsburgh vs. NY Yankees

Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Fresh off his new contract extension with Pittsburgh, Andrew McCutchen had two hits and drove in a pair of runs as the Pirates defeated the New York Yankees, 7-4, in spring training action.

Yamaico Navarro had three hits and drove in two runs for the Pirates, who received two scoreless innings from starter Kevin Correia.

CC Sabathia started for the Yankees and allowed a run and three hits in two innings of work. Phil Hughes (0-1) gave up four hits and two runs -- one earned -- in 1 1/3 innings.

David Adams had two RBI for New York.
