Recap: Boston vs. Pittsburgh

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Andrew McCutchen went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored to lead the Pirates past the Red Sox, 7-4, in spring training action on Friday.

Jose Tabata and Garrett Jones added two RBI apiece, while Clint Barmes knocked in a run and scored two more for the Pirates. Shairon Martis (1-1) went two innings in the start, allowing just two hits and striking out one.

David Ortiz and Darnell McDonald each belted solo shots for the Red Sox, who saw starter Clay Buchholz (1-1) allow two runs on three hits in three innings of work to take the loss.
