Recap: Minnesota vs. Pittsburgh

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Garrett Jones hit a two-run home run among his three hits and drove in four as Pittsburgh used a 10-run first-inning blitz to clobber Minnesota, 17-6, in Grapefruit League play.

Alex Presley finished 3-for-4 with a solo homer, two RBI and three runs scored and Matt Hague added three hits, a solo homer and two runs scored for the Pirates.

Jo-Jo Reyes earned the win despite giving up four runs -- three earned -- on five hits in 2 1/3 innings.

Joe Mauer drove in two runs and Denard Span added an RBI and two runs scored for the Twins. Starter Terry Doyle didn't make it out of the first innings as he was lit up for eight runs on seven hits with a walk.
