Recap: Philadelphia vs. Pittsburgh

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Placido Polanco smacked a three-run home run as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, 7-2, in the final spring training game for both teams.

The two squads will square off again in Pittsburgh on Thursday to kick off the regular season.

Shane Victorino scored twice and drove in a run for Philadelphia, which got four scoreless innings from starter Cole Hamels. He gave up three hits while fanning five.

Robbie Grossman and Yamaico Navarro drove in the only runs for Pittsburgh. Starter James McDonald allowed a run on two hits and a walk in three innings.
