Darwin Barney, Starlin Castro and Josh Vitters added an RBI apiece for Chicago.

Chris Volstad picked up the win with three innings of two-hit, scoreless ball.

Angel Pagan, Chris Stewart and Tyler Graham drove in a run each for the Giants.

Madison Bumgarner took the loss after giving up seven hits and three runs over four full frames.
