Recap: San Francisco vs. Texas

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Alexi Ogando tossed 4 2/3 shutout innings as the Texas Rangers defeated the San Francisco Giants, 4-1, in Cactus League action.

Brandon Snyder had a two-run single, while Elvis Andrus and Luis Hernandez knocked in a run apiece for the Rangers.

Starter Madison Bumgarner allowed one run on eight hits and two walks while striking out five through 5 2/3 innings for San Francisco. Brett Pill's leadoff home run in the bottom of the ninth inning accounted for the Giants' lone run.
