Recap: San Francisco vs. Kansas City

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Pablo Sandoval crushed a game-winning two- run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting the San Francisco Giants to a 4-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals in Cactus League play on Monday.

Sandoval finished 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored, while Joaquin Arias finished 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored and starter Ryan Vogelsong yielded one run on two hits while striking out a pair in 2 2/3 innings.

Humberto Quintero and Lorenzo Cain knocked in runs for the Royals and starter Luis Mendoza gave up just three hits over five scoreless frames while fanning four and walking two.
