Recap: Texas vs. San Francisco

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Brandon Belt went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs scored on Thursday and the Giants downed the Rangers, 6-2, in spring training.

Joaquin Arias added a solo home run while Ryan Theriot, Brett Pill and Emmanuel Burriss each had an RBI for San Francisco. Matt Cain earned the win despite giving up back-to-back homers to Mike Napoli and Mitch Moreland. He allowed three hits, struck out six and walked one in seven innings.

Matt Harrison started for Texas and gave up one run on six hits while striking out seven over six innings. Yoshinori Tateyama allowed three runs -- two earned -- in the seventh to suffer the loss.
