Recap: Arizona vs. Seattle

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Offseason acquisition Jesus Montero had a two-RBI double in the first to spark the Mariners' offense as Seattle topped Arizona 7-1 in spring training action on Saturday.

Montero and Munenori Kawasaki each knocked in three runs overall, while Brendan Ryan and Luis Antonio Jimenez scored two runs apiece for Seattle.

Erasmo Ramirez gave up two hits in three scoreless innings of work to earn the victory.

Ian Kennedy was tagged for four runs on six hits in the loss as Jason Kubel and Gerardo Parra accounted for two of Arizona's five hits on the day.
