Recap: Arizona vs. Milwaukee

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Willie Bloomquist went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs batted in and two runs scored to lift the Diamondbacks to a 14-3 rout of the Brewers in an exhibition game on Wednesday.

Chris Young also knocked in three runs and starter Joe Saunders allowed three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five in five innings of work for Arizona, which kicks off the 2012 season at home against the Giants on Friday.

Cory Hart belted a two run home run for the Brewers as starter Sean Marcum was touched for five runs on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings. Milwaukee will host the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals on Friday to start the regular season.
