Recap: LA Angels vs. San Diego

Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Jaff Decker and Matt Clark each hit a solo home run and drove in two as the San Diego Padres downed the Los Angeles Angels, 6-3, in Cactus League play.

Yonder Alonso and Carlos Quentin both had an RBI while Jeudy Valdez scored twice for the Padres. Miles Mikolas (1-0) pitched the sixth inning, giving up one run, to earn the win.

The Angels got two hits and an RBI from Albert Pujols and Erick Aybar added two hits and a run scored. Matt Oye (0-1) was torched for three runs in the seventh inning to take the loss.

Orioles' Matusz ejected for substance on arm

Baltimore Orioles reliever Brian Matusz became the second major league pitcher in three days to be ejected from a game for having a foreign substance on his arm.

Hawks' Korver out for postseason

If the Atlanta Hawks are going to erase a 2-0 deficit in their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they will have to do it without one of the NBA's best shooters.
